Joseph Newcomb, Sr., President

As a 30-year veteran of the Cincinnati Fire Department he has experienced first hand the evolution of Emergency Medical Services from early “Transport Only” units to today’s Full Service Paramedic Units. As the founder of an Insurance and Investment Brokerage firm he has witnessed the ever-changing health care costs and reforms. He has also demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by developing several businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area. These attitudes and experiences coupled with his eye toward effective marketing and pin point problem solving have proven to be invaluable for both our EMS and MVA clients and the continued success of Medicount Management, Inc.

Brenda Hall, Director of Finance

Brenda joined Medicount Management, Inc. in 1999 and brought with her 9 years of medical billing experience. As the Director of Finance she oversees the workflow of patient provider payments, manages departments involved with Medicare transmittals, client issues relating to collection rates, deposits, invoicing, accounts payable, and refunds. She has continually proven to be the backbone of Medicount Management, Inc.

Tim Newcomb, Director of Sales and Marketing

Although Tim was originally hired in 2001 as the Director of Operations it became quickly apparent that his focus was on Sales and Marketing. In 2003 he was given the reigns of the Sales and Marketing department. Through his efforts he has developed strong relationships with key fire and EMS personnel. He has also aligned himself with leading EMS/MVA law attorneys, Information Technology industries, leaders and a multitude of Fire Chiefs. It is through this allegiance that our clients have the confidence that Medicount Management, Inc. will continue to surpass industry collection standards and at the same time problem solve any billing deficiencies that our clients may encounter. Tim is continually asked to speak to key Fire and EMS leaders on subjects such as increasing client services by utilizing the latest technology, educating the industry on HIPAA Laws and Compliances, how to enact Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) billing and how to recognize additional revenue resources.

Debbie Fillnow, Provider Enrollment Manager
Debbie is responsible for each client’s credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance providers. Debbie also ensures that your Medicare reporting is conducted as scheduled thus enabling Medicount Management, Inc. to produce maximum revenue for our clients.

Jody Sibert, Data Entry Supervisor
Jody joined Medicount Management, Inc. in 2001. Her 10 years medical billing experience along with the relationships that she has developed with key hospitals is invaluable when incomplete billing information needs to be corrected. Jody also serves as our in-house HIPAA Compliance Officer.

Ann Crabtree, Red Team Supervisor *
Ann has been with Medicount Management, Inc. for 6 years but brought with her 19 years of experience with all facets of EMS billing.

Beth Tolbert, Blue Team Supervisor *
Beth’s 7 years experience encompasses CPT coding, medical billing and data entry. However, her best skill is managing her team and adding her personal touch to Patient Relations.
